Ph.D. & M.A. - History Department Chair & Educator
From 1993-2017, Mike taught history to upper school students at the prestigious Dalton School in New York City, with subject matter that included Global History, U.S. Constitutional History, African American History and The Sixties.
Previously, he was the Director of the Center for Afro-American Studies and a faculty member in Afro-American Studies at Wesleyan University; and an assistant professor in the Afro-American Studies Department at Harvard University.Mike received his B.A. in History from Franklin and Marshall College, and his M.A. and Ph.D. in American History from University of Delaware. A published author, he is currently planning to write an intellectual history of the 1960s.
