Open House: Saturday, September 14th 2024!
It's time to open the doors of Geffen Academy at UCLA and welcome in our prospective families! Join us at our first Open House of the season to hear from Department Chairs, meet current students and families, and take a self-guided tour! Interested in joining us? Open Houses are limited capacity, first-come first-served opportunities. Keep an eye on this space for our November 16th, 2024 Open House.

Upcoming Virtual Office Hours
Office Hours are bi-weekly opportunities to learn more about Geffen Academy at UCLA in an informal, online setting! Our Admissions Team (alongside Educators and Students) host these 45-minute long sessions to answer your questions, talk about our academic program, and share what makes Geffen Academy special!   • Admissions Only Office Hour // Tuesday, Aug. 27 // 6:00 - 6:45 PM
    • Our first Office Hour of the season! Drop by to talk to the Admissions Team and get to know what we are looking for this season. Have a question about our testing policy? Our lunch menu? Our sports? Come on by and ask away!
  • Admissions Only Office Hour // Tuesday, Sep. 10 // 6:00 - 6:45 PM
    • One last chance for families who couldn't make it to the first Office Hour to run back their questions!
  • Science and Math Department Office Hour // Thursday, Sep. 26 // 6:00 - 6:45 PM
    • Join us in welcoming our Science Department and Math Department to learn more about curriculum offerings, possibilities, and how our students engage in the science and mathematics community! 
  • Student Life Office Hour // Thursday, Oct. 10 // 6:00 - 6:45 PM
    • Clubs, Affinity Groups, Extracurricular offerings and MORE will be discussed at our Student Life Office Hour! Our Dean Team is bringing all the energy to get your student excited about campus life at GA!

    • Director of Student Research Programs and I-Track Department Chair, Dr. Elizabeth Ashforth, will be joining the Admissions Team in our Virtual Office Hours to chat all about our programs. We invite families to join us, ask questions, and learn more about our I-Track and Research Program from the experts themselves!

    • We are thrilled to welcome our Founding Head of School, Dr. Sibyll Carnochan Catalan for a very special Office Hour! Join us in welcoming her to our virtual space for a night of learning about all things GA!

    • Get all the information you need about sports in this 45-minute jam-packed information session! Our Athletics Department Chair will be joining us in talking all about our sports program, the sports offered, and how we serve athletes on and off the field!

    • Have questions about tutoring, IEPs, or how students can get academic help? Come by and ask our Learning Specialist Team what resources Geffen Academy offers to students!

Geffen Academy at UCLA does not currently offer opportunities to visit our campus outside of the interview and tour. We invite you to head over to our Video Gallery for virtual open houses, a tour of our campus, and more.  We also encourage prospective students and families to review our Application Process page to learn more about our institution.
