Chloe Chvatal

Chloe has taught a wide range of mathematical topics and concepts at the Eugene Math Circle and at the Berkeley Math Circle summer program for three years. Her teaching highlights the pleasure and utility of this pursuit, inviting students from all backgrounds to learn and revisit mathematics with an open mind. Chloe aspires for her students to feel that they are embraced as individuals, challenged as mathematical scholars, and recognized as valuable contributors to their class and community Before coming to Geffen Academy, Chloe lived and studied in Eugene, Oregon, where she received her B.S. and M.S. in mathematics from the University of Oregon. She discovered her love of teaching through her work at the Eugene and Berkeley math circles, and is very excited to continue to share her passion for mathematics! When Chloe isn’t studying or teaching math, she loves to explore new hikes, curl up with a new book, or cook a delicious vegan meal.
