David Collicutt

David coached our Boys' Varsity Soccer team to Geffen Academy's first-ever CIF-SS Championship in 2022 and now leads our competitive golf program. Before becoming a founding Educator, he worked for 17 years at Marlborough School, where he served as athletic director and taught physical education classes, founded a sports medicine program, and collaborated with pediatric sports medicine specialists and researchers at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He led high school teams to dozens of league championships, including eleven California Interscholastic Federation (CIF)-Southern Section (SS) championships and two CIF State championships. In 2016, he was named an inaugural CIF-SS MVP Athletic Director, and he continues to serve on the Athletic Administrators Committee as well as the CIF-SS Soccer Advisory Committee. He also served as an adjunct professor at Concordia University, Irvine, teaching advanced technology in the Coaching and Athletics Administration M.A. program. David attended Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England, where he earned a B.A. degree with honors and a postgraduate professional diploma and served as captain of the cricket and soccer teams.
