Sandra Halajian
Ed.D. - Dean of Instruction and Educator Culture (DoI&EC)
Sandra brings twenty years of experience working in secondary schools, joining us most recently from North Hollywood High School, where she was an English teacher and an Instructional Coach. Dr. Halajian has a Bachelor of Arts in English from UCLA; a Master of Arts Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from California State University, Los Angeles; a Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration from Concordia University; and recently completed her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from California State University, Los Angeles.
Sandra’s recent role as an Instructional Coach, wherein she coached and mentored teachers, prepared differentiated professional development sessions, and facilitated new teacher meetings, speaks to the momentum she will carry into the position of DoI&EC at Geffen Academy.
