April Grace

B.F.A. - Wellness & Psychology Educator
As an educator since 2008 specializing in wellness and human development, April has taught in both clinical and educational settings but is most passionate about working with youth.

She holds a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from Southern Oregon University and has traveled the country as a storyteller. She believes owning one’s story is integral to gaining clarity and self-compassion, which helps to cultivate specific habits of wellness that are unique to each person’s individual needs. She helped facilitate a national study on eating disorders and yoga for the University of Buffalo. She has created and taught wellness curricula for Bring Change to Mind, Sony Studios, The Clippers, and New Roads School. She is passionate about working with young people and incorporates mindfulness, yoga, restorative circles, breathwork, and the latest neuroscience techniques into her classes to provide each student a comprehensive tool kit for overall wellbeing and mental health. She is proud to be a Bruin!
