Briana Young

B.A. - Wellness Educator
Briana is passionate about teaching wellness, human development, and psychology. She aims to help students understand themselves deeply and develop healthy habits that will support their wellbeing throughout life. 

Briana has over a decade of experience in education, including roles as a fine arts educator, high school history/social sciences teacher, and wellness program leader. She has also worked as a mental health counseling intern and child advocate with the Child Abuse Services Team of Orange County. With a solid background in adolescent psychology and lifespan development, Briana integrates meditation, yoga, and self-inquiry into her wellness teachings. She emphasizes student autonomy and self-actualization, drawing on her education in social and behavioral sciences and social work, informing her biopsychosocial approach to understanding the complexities of the human experience.
