Academic Lab is a testament to our commitment to setting students up for success. By focusing on essential skills such as time management, organization, and assignment completion, we help students develop the executive functioning skills necessary for academic achievement.

Providing quiet and collaborative spaces ensures that all students can find an environment conducive to their learning style. With adult support available to navigate group work challenges and answer questions, students are encouraged to become persistent inquirers. This nurturing environment promotes the development of adaptable learners who can manage their workload effectively and seek help when needed.

 

Office Hours further exemplify our dedication to student success. Offered four times a week during H Block, these sessions provide personalized support, allowing students to review and solidify their understanding of class content. Educators demonstrate their commitment to each student’s academic journey by encouraging or requiring attendance. This practice helps students become powerful communicators by engaging in meaningful dialogue with their teachers and fostering a sense of partnership and compassion, which aligns with our goal of nurturing compassionate partners.
