Ashleigh Fata

Latin & Humanities Educator
Ashleigh is a doctoral candidate in the Classics department at UCLA.
This academic year, she volunteered to pioneer our Classics club in the Middle School. Her dissertation on the Isocrates’ Adaptable Constitution, her experience in teaching Latin, Greek and American History at the university will be elements that add a new perspective and much value to the department. Ashleigh is eager to spearhead our new language program at the Geffen Academy. She has a pronounced interest in sparking the love of the Classics in our secondary students. She has made connections at UCLA that will help in the growing of a young program. In addition, Ashleigh is supporting the humanities program for the 2019-20 academic year. Ashleigh received her B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ashleigh will double as our Latin/Humanities Educator.
