Ph.D. - Science Educator
Megan joins us from the Chadwick School in Palos Verdes, California.
There she worked as the K-12 STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) coordinator and teacher. She received her bachelor of arts in astrophysics from Columbia University in 1999 and obtained her Ph.D. in physics from Louisiana State University in 2007. Megan will teach the 11th grade integrated science 3 class, which will focus heavily on physics, as well as some chemistry. She will collaborate with the upper school science team in building an astrophysics course for the 2020-21 academic year.
