Christian Reed

Ph.D. - English Educator
Christian has a decade of teaching experience.
Christian particularly enjoys engaging students with primary sources and helping them translate their experiences into creative projects. In 2014, he received the Primary Source Award from the Center for Research Libraries for a student-driven collaborative poetry project about the history of the L.A. Aqueduct. For this reason, Christian looks forward to working with ninth-graders in the L.A.-based Immersive Cities course and the exploring Ancient Minds with seventh graders. He received his Ph.D. in English from UCLA and his B.A. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in English and Philosophy.
