M.A. - Athletic Director & Head Boys Soccer Coach
David served as athletic director at Marlborough School in Los Angeles for 17 years.
At Marlborough, he taught physical education classes, led a competitive sports program for 36 teams in 12 sports and founded a sports medicine program, collaborating with pediatric sports medicine specialists and researchers at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. He led high school teams to dozens of league championships, including eleven California Interscholastic Federation (CIF)-Southern Section (SS) championships and two CIF State championships. In 2016, he was named an inaugural CIF-SS MVP Athletic Director, and he continues to serve on the Athletic Administrators Committee as well as the CIF-SS Soccer Advisory Committee. He is an adjunct professor at Concordia University, Irvine, teaching advanced technology in the Coaching and Athletics Administration M.A. program. David attended Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England, where he earned a B.A. degree with honors and a postgraduate professional diploma, and served as captain of the cricket and soccer teams.
