Ed.D. - Dean for Students & School Culture
Dr. Radhika Khandelwal, “Dean Rad,” is Geffen Academy’s founding Dean of Students and School Culture. In her role, she oversees the Student Life Team, comprising of the Division Deans and School Counselors. 
Under her guidance, the school initiates a restorative approach to conflict resolution, utilizing various techniques to authentically address and repair harm. In addition, she oversees the school’s co-curricular experience, including student council, clubs, affinity groups, orientation, retreats, and community time programming, all of which aim to support the school’s DEI mission and vision. She also serves as the school’s Title IX Investigator. In her personal time, Dean Rad enjoys spending time with her (very young) family and supporting South Asian arts and activism. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership for Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University, a Masters in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. in Psychology from Scripps College.
