Mari Oropeza

Ph.D. - Director of Academic Advising & College Guidance
A native El Pasoan, Dr. Oropeza is our founding Director of Academic Advising & College Guidance.

Dr. Oropeza has worked in college admission at a variety of institutions of higher education and has also consulted for school districts in Texas and California since 1999. She has been an academic advisor and college counselor at Palmer Trinity School (Miami), Crossroads School (Santa Monica), and most recently at Milken Community Schools (Los Angeles). Dr. Oropeza holds a B.A. in Political Science, an M.A. in Postsecondary Education, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership.
