Theater Arts Educator
Sean Conlin is a graduate of UC Berkeley, where he studied English and philosophy.
In more than a decade, he has held virtually every job in the theater profession, from stage manager and director to light designer and acting teacher. He is a credited writer on Departures (published by Samuel French), assistant light designer for the Off-Broadway production of Take What is Yours and stage manager for the U.S. premiere of Expert at the Card Table, developed by Miener Chocolate Factory and directed by Neil Patrick Harris. Most recently, Sean was production staff and faculty at the California Institute of the Arts School of Theater. Sean has found teaching and directing high school theater to be the most joyful and rewarding work of his career, and he is excited to bring his experience and dedication to family spirit to Geffen Academy.
