A teacher since 2010, Leigh-Michil aims for all her students to leave her classes more confident, equipped with reading and writing knowledge that they can translate into self-knowledge.
A teacher since 2010, Leigh-Michil aims for all her students to leave her classes more confident, equipped with reading and writing knowledge that they can translate into self-knowledge. Her expertise includes literature, screenwriting, and creative writing. Leigh-Michil received her B.A. in Art History from Georgian Court University and her M.F.A. in Screenwriting from American Film Institute. She also holds a Ph.D. in English from UCLA. She previously taught in UCLA’s English Department and Writing Programs. Before joining Geffen Academy, she was an Instructor in the English Division at Pasadena City College.
