M.A. - Wellness Educator
Our first dedicated wellness educator, Ms. Garcia advises our Gender Sexuality Alliance and is a 10th grade advisor.
Since 2004, Ms. Garcia has held a number of positions in Independent Schools, including school counselor, director of students services, and most recently, director of a human development program. Ms. Garcia feels fortunate to have worked with students in grades 4-12, as she loves connecting with students of all ages, and appreciates the unique attributes of each developmental stage. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Ms. Garcia also enjoys spending time in nature and has an extensive background in experiential education. She has her B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from The University of Redlands, and a M.A. in Community Counseling from Gonzaga University.
