Geffen Academy 5th Grade Foundations

A cohort of rising 5th graders will participate in Geffen Academy's signature courses, including: I-Track (Makerspace), PE, Fitness, and Nutrition, Drama (Creative Writing/Reading), and Art (Ceramics, Drawing, Painting). These courses will be taught by Geffen Academy Educators, with students guided through their day by dedicated staff. All classes will be scaffolded for the rising 5th-grade mindset, with discovery, creativity, and joy at the heart of the program.

Throughout the day, the cohort will have dedicated time for games, playful activities, and team-building experiences. Students will cycle through four 60-minute classes, break for 30 minute lunch, and an additional 20 minute break throughout the day. This three-week program provides an exciting opportunity for students to connect with curious, like-minded peers and explore Geffen Academy's academic and extracurricular offerings.

Note: Students must have successfully completed the first marking period of 4th grade to register for Geffen Academy 5th Grade Foundations.
