David Collicutt

David coached our Boys' Varsity Soccer team to Geffen Academy's first-ever CIF-SS Championship in 2022 and was named the CIF-SS Coach of the Year.  He now leads our competitive golf program. David has been an Athletic Director for over 25 years, including 17 years as Athletic Director and Coach at Marlborough School before joining Geffen Academy.  In 2016, he was named an inaugural CIF-SS MVP Athletic Director, and he continues to serve on the CIF-SS Athletic Administrators Committee as well as both the Soccer Advisory Committee and the Technology Committee. He also served as an adjunct professor at Concordia University, Irvine, teaching advanced technology in the Coaching and Athletics Administration M.A. program.   David is a regular presenter at California State Athletic Director conferences and summits as well as Concordia classes.  In 2018, David was awarded the N.I.A.A.A. California State Award of Merit in recognition of outstanding leadership and meritorious achievement in interscholastic athletic administration. He was also awarded the Concordia University Award of Excellence in the same year. David attended Oxford Brookes University in Oxford, England, where he earned a B.A. degree with honors and a postgraduate professional diploma and served as captain of both the cricket and soccer [football] teams.
