This summer creative enrichment course in ceramics will focus on bringing the experience of everyday life into sculptural form. Students will have technical demonstrations, brief art theory lectures, and technical guidance with significant time to develop their skills in rendering and artistic thinking to make sculptural narratives that reflect their lived experiences. The course will conclude with a group critique where each student will share their work and engage in a discussion of their artistic choices and what they mean in the work.
