Jake Cassman

M.M. - Music Educator

Mr. Jake is an educator and practicing musician/songwriter who instills a creative and exploratory spirit in the classroom.

Mr. Jake received his bachelor’s from Berklee College of Music and his master’s in community music at USC. He has toured the country performing his music, worked at the Second City comedy theater, published research in multiple journals, and given presentations and workshops at conferences worldwide. Mr. Jake teaches across divisions and grades at Geffen Academy and is also the teacher sponsor of the mock trial team. He’s also a proud Bay Area sports fan and plays pickup basketball every weekend.
