Geffen Academy 5th Grade Foundations - Registration for Summer 2024 now OPEN!

A cohort of - up to 18 - rising 5th graders will preview four Geffen Academy signature courses: STEM & Middle School Academics, PE & Wellness, Ceramics, and iTrack. The courses will be taught by Geffen Academy Educators and students will be guided through their day by a dedicated Geffen Academy staff member. All classes will be scaffolded for the rising 5th grade mindset with fun, discovery, and joy at the core of the program. Students will begin their day with 30 minutes of cohort-only fun and games, team-building activities, and elective reading. They will then cycle through two 60-minute classes, break for 30 minutes of lunch, and continue with two more 60-minute classes. The three-week program will be an exciting way for students to make connections with curious like-minded students, and discover more about Geffen Academy academic and extracurricular offerings. 

Students must have demonstrated successful completion of the first marking period of 4th grade to register for Geffen Academy 5th Grade Foundations.
