Leigh-Michil George
M.F.A. & Ph.D. - English Educator
A teacher since 2010, Leigh-Michil aims for all her students to leave her classes more confident, equipped with reading and writing knowledge that they can translate into self-knowledge.
A teacher since 2010, Leigh-Michil aims for all her students to leave her classes more confident, equipped with reading and writing knowledge that they can translate into self-knowledge.
Her expertise includes literature, screenwriting, and creative writing. Leigh-Michil received her B.A. in Art History from Georgian Court University, her M.F.A. in Screenwriting from American Film Institute, and her Ph.D. in English from UCLA. She previously taught in UCLA’s English Department and Writing Programs. Before joining Geffen Academy, she was an Instructor in the English Division at Pasadena City College.
